The FEF internship program for qualified seniors continues to be a highlight of our programs. About half of our seniors (those who have acquired their food handlers licenses and are working towards pro start certification) spend 200 hours working for some of the top restaurants and businesses in the city. This program has continues to expand and is the most crucial part of preparing our students for the workplace. Along the way, students have the additional opportunity to cook and bake after school, working in the school’s catering company, participating in a myriad of events, and practicing for cooking competitions.
