What does Remote Learning look like at FFHS?

  • Each school day students will receive an announcement from the daily attendance google classroom class.  Students will complete a two question survey for daily attendance.

  • Every day students will have to check their google classroom classes.  Students are being provided work by their teachers based on their classes from Term 2 of the school year. Do the best you can to submit your work by the due date provided.

  • Teachers will be able to hold "Online Office Hours" You can find the list of Office hours at the button on the right.  These may take the form of video conferencing through Google Meet, chatting through Google Chat, or responding to emails.

What are the expectations for students at FFHS with Remote Learning?

  • Answer the daily attendance form

  • Check Google Classroom Daily

  • Be respectful of yourselves, teachers, and other students.  We are all learning this new way of attending school together.

  • NYCDOE discipline code is still in effect- should a student be found to be violating the discipline code their account can be suspended.

  • Ask for help- we are all dealing with something that is brand new and having a significant impact on our daily lives. It is okay to ask for help, we will not be able to help you in your situation if we are not aware of the problems you are facing.
